Technimark is one of the top 25 largest injection molding companies in the United States. They have 7 plants in the US, 2 in Mexico, one in Germany and one in China.  For the past five years Technimark has been awarded P&G’s Outstanding  Plastics Supplier and we were rewarded in 2009 by Wal-Mart with their Excellence in Sustainability Award. Our top customers are P&G, Wal-Mart, Henkel, Estee Lauder, Clorox, Hershey, Reckitt  Benckiser, Blockbuster and Black & Decker.  We also have projects ongoing with many other consumer packaging and industrial accounts.

Develop  new and promote existing business through customer presentations and conferences. Work with client's marketing, design and engineering departments.  Present new products, new processes, new materials and new technology in an effort to obtain new and increase existing business.

Lead the design group of 6 engineers responsible for the design, engineering and project management of injection molded plastics for the consumer packing industry and for various industrial applications.

Create, Design & Engineer products for Fortune 50 customers from initial concepts, through product development, into full production through complete product lifecycle.  Volumes of finished components generally require multiple cavitation molds running on high speed molding presses often with automated assembly.

Manage the professional development of engineers, advise the group on possible solutions to problems and provide a sounding board when necessary.  Schedule group resources to ensure timely completion to meet customer requirements. Utilize both external and internal  resources to accomplish design and time goals. Develop new technologies in molding, materials, processes, automation and decoration to gain additional market share and improve operating costs.

Innovate through design, processes, materials and equipment.  Win customers through innovate design by implementing technologies that are new to the industry, new to our customers or new to our processes. Create engineered designs utilizing the latest CAD technology, providing FEA analysis and running mold filling scenarios with Moldflow software.

Assist the division managers in their quoting process by providing detailed calculation of costs of goods sold and capital. Provide customers with capital and piece part costs, and project timelines from US, European and Asian facilities. Analyze design configurations using Ansys software.

Project management role consists of meeting with customers and their industrial design firms, working with their consumer research groups, providing detailed CAD data, running Moldflow analysis, calculating stresses, physical testing of parts, providing customer and manufacturing documentation for production manufacture. Work with vendors to ensure customer’s requirements are fulfilled, communicate information to Tooling, Automation, Material Supply, Production, Accounting and Management necessary to complete project milestones on time, every time.

Established ISO criteria for design group to which all projects are documented.
